Won a Prize

Won a champion in the PowerPoint slides competition at the National Level English Carnival for the cluster schools of excellence held by SK Pengkalan Raja in Pontian. At least, brought back the only prize for the school while our children had lost in all the three other events participated. A good try that boosted my long lost confidence. Big thanks to our HM for granting me a chance to take part in the event, and I would like to share the joy with all our fellow school folks, may all of us keep marching towards the excellence!

Dream Comes True!

YES!!! Our dream has eventually come true! 

The people's tsunami has finally succeeded in sweeping down the BN government which had been in power for the past 60 years and has already been rottening to the core.

Proud indeed to have the government changed in such a cultured manner and peaceful way, without any violence or bloodshed. We are now looking forward to a better nation where the people are living harmoniously under the govern of the new government. PH government is truly the hope of the people who crave to get rid of the corruption, racial issues, judiciary crisis and many other problems existed during the ruling of the previous government.

The peaceful change of the government has shown to the world the power of true democracy! 

Thanks to all who had made a really great effort to win the election and to help to topple the old regime. Let's march towards a much better Malaysia now! 

Proud of the change and proud of the nation!

Crave for change

Time flies!

GE14 is around the corner! All the political parties are now working hard running each other's election campaigns across the nation.

During GE13, we, the maniac supporters of certain politicians used to travel to various places to listen to the political talks given by the politicians. And we, hiding in the big crowd, used to yell and applaud excitedly with all our might together with the others  to show our most passionate support to those candidates!

Today, after around 5 years, things have changed a lot!

The rapid development of the information technology enables us to access to the internet easily through all kinds of IT devices or gadgets. We do not have to move around to listen to the political talks anymore. We can just access to the live broadcast online and sit back comfortably at home to support our desired candidates! And yet we are still not alone too, as there are always thousands of netizens out there sharing the online broadcast together with us!

The way of supporting the political campaigns has changed, but the crave for change of a corrupted, unreliable government and a government without integrity seems still remains the same after 5 years.

Regular CNY visitors

It's the third day of the Lunar New Year, and here came my first and only batch of visitors during the new year, ha! They were my old boys and girl from SJKC Ldg Pengkalan Bukit: Alex, Harry, Kaiyun and her girls. Thankful for their effort to try to be here every year!

Had quite a long chat with the Law's brothers as they used to stay longer every time they were here, and our shared topic this time mainly focused on the political issues of the country as GE 14 is around the corner.

How very young they were when I was first posted to their school 20+ years ago, and they are now all grown-ups and used to share their life stories with me almost every CNY when they were here. Time really flies!!!  

On the other hand, Fungming sent me a most sincere message to apologize for his absence, as his wife had just given birth to a baby boy and is in her confinement period now. He used to remind me of his thankfulness for the time I spent with them during their primary school life, and his words had always warmed my heart so much!

Thanks boys and girls for coming back throughout these years, and my best wishes are always with you all!

CNY

It's the first day of the dog year, a peaceful day without visitor beside elder bro and his family.

Went to the river bank with 5th sis from S'pore in the evening. We haven't been meeting for quite a long time. Had a good chat with her while she was shooting the sunset at the river bank. She is always soft-spoken and caring. Always feel thankful to have all the brothers and sisters who have always been giving me lots of support when life was difficult.

Thankful to all the most passionate parents of my students and colleague for the love shared during the festival, feeling blessed indeed! 

The excitement of the festival had so much reduced ever since the decease of our beloved mom. Nothing seems to be looking forward to but overwhelmed with the memories of the festival greeting while mom was around, she had been leaving lots of foot prints in the journey of our lives!
