We passed by a fisherman’s stall this morning. A Malay man
was selling cockles. Yok
Lang Lim wanna buy some, but we both hadn’t even a single cent with us.
However, the Malay man said, ‘Tak apalah, bayar lain kali.’
We didn’t often cycle around the kampong, and we hadn’t even
met the man before, but he trusted us just like this! I was really moved by his
kindness!
Trust and friendship (Muhibbah) do exist among the various
races in this country, just try not to tear them further apart, dear
politicians!
