Thankful

Feeling loved so much!

Thankful to my siblings & colleagues for their care while I am suffering from an unknown sickness which drives me to go for a blood test after being really uncomfortable for a couple of days.

Thankful to 玉兰老师for her short but caring message from Sydney right at this moment.

Thankful to Ashley and her mom for their passion of sharing and love that warms my heart.

It's a day filled with thankfulness and love!

A Visit to Tmn Negara

Rapid shooting!

Visited to the National Park during the first semester break.
Enjoyed the river trip along Sg Tembeling that headed to Lata Berkoh so much though got soaked during the downpour on the way back from the trip!

All got wet during the river trip
Canopy walk
The rapid shooting activity was such a fun too! Other challenging and adventurous activities were the canopy walk and the night jungle walk as well. During the night jungle walk, though no animal was spotted beside the scorpions, but it's still an exciting experience to walk in the darkness of the the jungle. Even bitten by the leech was also an unprecedented experience to us and we had also learnt how to stop the leech-bitten wound from bleeding and becoming swollen too. That was to wash the wound with the organic salt brought by one of us. Jungle trekking was rather exhausting but yet interesting.
We had also visited to the aboriginal village too to learn how the Negritos live their lives!

Overall, it's such an awesome and enjoyable trip indeed!

2016 Kampung Ride

Went for 2016 Oasis-s2h Charity Kampung Ride once again with 玉兰老师。

It's most challenging and interesting to crunch over the gravel of the stony lane and riding in the mud along the country road, though exhausted at the end of the journey, ha!

Another awesome and enjoyable experience and thankful for the cloudy weather that prevented us from being sunburned under the hot sun.

Traditional Lantern

120 hand made traditional lanterns were contributed by Weechen during the mid autumn festival celebration of our children dhamma class at the Tanjung Emas square. The lanterns were produced all by himself with the empty milk cans collected from the coffee shop. Two cans were needed for each set of the lantern. The lanterns were such creatively and neatly designed and had attracted many children to come and join our activities. They were so excited while rolling the spinning lantern around and they had indeed filled the square with lots of laughter.

Thankful to Weechen for his kindest and greatest effort to bring so much laughter and happiness to the children who had been enjoying the night so much! The lanterns had also brought back lots of nostalgic childhood memory to the adults too!

Learning

At last, fixed the driver installation problem caused by win 10 for the desktop in the staff room.

Trouble shooting was indeed time consuming, but it would be so much satisfied once the problem was fixed! Thanks to those who generously share their knowledge online. Information shared online enable us to tackle some PC problems by ourselves without too dependent on the others. And it enables us to keep learning too.

Life, is a continuous learning process.

Mural Painting

A mural painting project is launched recently to promote tourism in our hometown.

Several artists are invited to paint the murals on the wall of a few buildings in the town. The first artist to start the painting is  Julia Volchkova a Russian artist from Saint Petersburg. As I am rather interested in artwork as well as driven by curiosity, I brought my camera along to the spot to capture a few pictures of how the art piece being painted. Missed the moment when the drawing is drafted, somehow, when the color is done mixing and the painting was about to begin, the weather went bad and it started drizzling. The painting job hence had to stop owing to the rain, will be back there again to witness the picture being painted tomorrow.
