A little bird was found outside the staffroom this morning while the children were still in the class.
The cute little bird didn't fly when I approached it. It seemed like too weak to fly.
I got it caught and then passed it to the school security guard to be taken care of before the recess time started, else, when the children found it, it would be tortured to death.
Nowadays, most of our children do not know how to love and take care of the small and weak animals, so sad!

Hey, that's not totally true what you said about kids. I too am a teacher and thankfully I have seen a different side to them.Often when cats have a litter we have a hard time keeping the kids from going overboard in their caring.I have known girls who have ordered new cardigns from the school store for the kittens as it was very cold.They hide bread, etc and bring it from the school mess for them and so many other things.
